Hike Behind BHC (59)
Considered a bunny/starter trail, this is a good way to stretch your legs after a long drive in! No need for a guide on this one, but Gaea might volunteer anyway! Turn this brisk walk into a serious hike by following Krause Canyon up to Monjeau Road, a favorite of area mountain bikers! -
Trail # 12 - Telephone Canyon (78)
A black diamond hike for sure. Extreme altitude changes and 45 degree trails. You will gain almost 2000 feet in elevation ascending through Telephone Canyon! The view at the top is amazing.. making this hike worth the effort... not for the weak hearted. For a real challenge, ask us about looping Telephone Canyon into Miner's Trail for an epic 6-mile adventure! -
Trail #13 - Cedar Creek (52)
Definitely a blue hike, a little tougher with some easier moments... be ready to hike if you choose this one. The Trailhead is only a mile from the BHC grounds. Cedar Creek Trail is 1.6 miles long one-way and takes you over the ridge that most of our cabin's decks overlook. The 3 mile round-trip will definitely introduce you to beauty of Lincoln National Forest! -
Trail #77 - North Eagle Creek (63)
One of our favorite trails in the entire forest, North Eagle Creek Trail can be considered a green trail; it can be done by the whole family and is an ideal trail to take children. Only a few minutes away from BHC by car, T77 is a can't miss! With Eagle Creek running by the trail, this is a great chance to see our area's wildlife!
