Our cabins literally sit on the side of a mountain in the beautiful Lincoln National Forest outside of Ruidoso, New Mexico. We have nine rental cabins, one owners' cabin, an amphitheater and campfire picnic area, and a small office cabin; all of which border the National Forest. Strategically and cleverly placed about six acres in order to maximize your privacy, each cabin has direct and private access from our road.
Hot-tubs are likewise placed with your privacy in mind, but they are oriented to make sure you have the absolute best views of both your forest surroundings and the stars above. You've never looked at the sky until you've seen it from 7,500 feet above sea level!
We have one mountain road that goes up and down our grounds. It begins at Ski Run Road, ends in front of the Hideout Cabin, and will take you to each cabin's front door. Winter guests: keep track of the weather, especially after dark; the road gets steep in spots! While 4-wheel-drive is not required, and most 2-wheel-drive vehicles have no problem on our road during any season, our hill is quite steep in sections and can appear intimidating. Check-in times are set in order to ensure safe passage to your cabin; please note that our driveway may be deemed inaccessible by management during times of inclement weather, especially during after-dark hours in winter.
We are perfect for visitors looking for hiking, mountain biking, or wildlife viewing! In fact, there are multiple hiking/biking trails for your enjoyment that begin right on our grounds!
